Household fuel
Pakistan LPG Policy & Prices
Liquefied petroleum gas is the cooking fuel for households beyond the piped-gas network, and its price and supply have become a recurring winter pressure. Pakistan consumes about 2.4 million tonnes a year and imports more than half of it, much of it overland from Iran, while domestic production is allocated between quotas, auctions and state importers. This hub follows the policy decisions, the import arrangements and the gap between the notified rate and what households actually pay.
