What we publish
KhabarWire publishes dated news reports and explainers on Pakistan’s politics, courts and security, its economy, technology, sport and culture, and its relations with the region and the world. We currently cover 6 sections and have published 1,099 articles.
Our reports are syntheses of published material, not eyewitness reporting. Each one is built from official records and established news organisations.
How we work
Our news articles follow written standards: approved sources only, claims attributed to whoever made them, conflicting figures shown rather than smoothed over, and a clear account of what is still unknown. How we source, attribute and correct articles is set out in our editorial policy.
Our team
Each article carries the byline of the correspondent responsible for its beat. Usman Tariq, Managing Editor, is responsible for our editorial standards and corrections.
Managing Editor
Usman Tariq oversees KhabarWire's editorial standards: the source allowlist, attribution and correction rules that every article follows, and the review of reader correction requests.
