Pakistan Wheat and Food Prices

Wheat is Pakistan’s main staple and the largest single input into the price of a loaf. The government sets an annual support price, provincial authorities release stocks, and the federal government decides what to import and what to hold as a strategic reserve. This hub follows that chain — the policy decisions, the stock and import arithmetic, and the effect on flour and food inflation.
