Pakistan Local Government Elections

Local government elections decide who sits on Pakistan's village and neighbourhood councils, tehsil councils and cantonment boards, and the terms of the local bodies elected in the last cycle have now expired. The Election Commission of Pakistan sets the schedule under Article 140-A of the Constitution, and the process now runs alongside emergency and governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This hub follows the commission's decisions on polling dates, delimitation and electoral rolls, and the provincial requests to delay them.
