What happened
Five members of a bomb disposal unit were martyred when armed militants attacked them during curfew hours in the Razmak subdivision of North Waziristan district on Sunday, 21 June 2026, officials and local reports said.
The attack took place near a security checkpost in the Waidoon area of Dosali tehsil, where the bomb disposal unit party was carrying out routine operational duties. Militants opened fire on the personnel and all five were killed at the scene.
