What happened
Security forces killed 14 militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Naal area of Basima, Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, and one soldier was martyred during the exchange of fire.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said intelligence reports received on 8 June indicated the presence of militants from the group it called “Fitna al-Hindustan” who were planning attacks on a nearby police station and banks.
