Militants attacked a convoy of security forces in Balochistan’s Mastung district on Thursday, 16 July 2026, killing three security personnel and injuring 29 others, security sources said.

A local government official in Mastung told Arab News that five civilians, all local residents, were killed and 11 people injured in the ambush in the Kand Umrani area, about 25 kilometres from Mastung city, and declined to say how many of the injured were security personnel.
